Software maker Microsoft Corp. announced Thursday it will cut up to 5,000 jobs in the next year and a half, or 5.5% of its global workforce, citing further deterioration of global economic conditions.
Microsoft will slash 1,400 positions immediately, with the rest of the cuts coming by June 2010. The company also said it will freeze employees’ pay in 2009.

Most news sources are saying “an internal email was leaked to the press,” which makes this sound like the email was intended to be kept private. No way! Steve Ballmer sent the email to all Microsoft employees, so I’m guessing he never expected it to stay private, but rather wanted the employees to hear the news first before the media broke the story.

Christopher Columbus went looking for India & the Indians and found the Americas. Be grateful. You have a 300 year old country because of the Indians. We have been around for 10,000 years.
And learn to compete. Well, if you can. Otherwise, prepare to fade away.

The desire for higher education needs to be cultivated in the younger generations but again that cannot happen overnight.It would take time & effort.

Dude, it seems u r a true American, go ahead and take back your job, but can you tell me who a real American is? Who r u? Are you a red american, or an african-american, or caucasion {I hate being a racist tho} ,mexican and also not to forget the chinese who are more in number than u could ever imagine. U mean to say u want to stay the way u wer all by urself, it wouldn’t have been america as it is now….
World is one. America’s has the best brains all over the world, not all or as matter of fact not even some are of american origin{ Who? } , it doesnt matter where a human is from, or what colour he has, all that matters is whether he deserves it or not.
So Think again, it doesnt matter much but do it :)
