Northrop plans 750 job cuts

Northrop Grumman Corp.’s Aerospace Systems sector, created by the recent merger of the company’s two locally based businesses, will cut up to 750 jobs in coming months by eliminating duplicate positions.

The aerospace giant, maker of jet fighter sections and military satellites, will make the move even as it continues to hire people in other areas of the company.
